Restoration of a barn’s finish using period appropriate techniques and materials

This project was an antique stone barn that had Portland cement stucco on it. The Portland stucco    was not allowing the original antique mortar to breath.  We replaced the Portland stucco finish with an historically correct lime stucco finish, allowing the original mortar to breathe. This restored the barn to its original appearance.
